I have a feeling someone on this site will ask me this question

Here is the backstory:

If you haven't seen my handle, I was born in 2004 which meant my formative years were spent in the 2010s. Flash games made up a huge portion of my upbringing as I would spend hours on my dad's clunky Windows XP computer or my mom's Windows 7 laptop playing the same games on the same sites (like Miniclip, Oyunlar1, etc). The catch though was that I had plenty of hand-me-downs at home as well as my school holding onto posters, games, and computers from the 2000s and to an extent, the 1990s, I didn't even grow up poor, this was a semi-rural upper middle-class town we are looking at. Classrooms were filled with bulky Dell machines running Windows XP, posters with that Carson Dellosa style, books from the 1990s and those wacky Y2K-ish cover, etc.

Now don't get me wrong, I do miss the 2010s, I enjoyed the Silly Bandz, the EDM, the Wii games, and all that nice jazz but because I only got a small taste of the 2000s from my earliest memories, I was curious about what the rest of the 2000s would be like....as said earlier, I got lucky with the hand-me-downs and the old things my environment clanged to.

The old YouTube Poops were a form of going to another reality, the absurdity of those Super Mario cartoons and all of that "Mama Luigi" crap was peak comedy as a guy hyper fixated on Mario, I didn't even know how Mama Luigi got popular but the cartoon was funny with all the edits of the sentence mixing and vulgar cursing and toilet humor. This was something familiar that gave me a sense of predictability, security, etc...at least for a while. I was a fool for thinking something like this would be around forever. My dad's computer almost broke down due to my own carelessness (deleted some system files)

Everything was changing, the once glossy designs were being flattened down to dull colors, the sheer absurdity of Mario parodies where Mario blows up castles are brutally attacks Toad was being replaced by videos trying to sell me something ran by these weird "personal brands", all dominated by algorithms. It was absolute madness, and around my teen years I realized that the 2000s were starting to show their age and many things from that era were starting to break down and be lost to time. Also autism and hyperfixations come to play!!

My mission is to preserve the feel, the artifacts, the software, and whatnot from the 1990s and early 2000s before it is lost to all of time!!! I don't think I said everything here, but you now have an idea why I make nostalgic art
